- First, you must go to the first search box.
- Next, type “Control Panel” in the first search box and hit the Insert button.
- And from the Control Panel, you have to go to Computer Settings.
- From the settings, you should select family and other users. You will also find this option under the “Accounts” section.
- Now, you have to choose the user who wants to give you administrative privileges for the computer.
- You must click “OK” now to sign in to the Windows app.

Step 2: End the QuickBooks processes running in the background.
- Right-click mouse.png anywhere in the empty area in the toolbar below and click Start Task Manager.
- Go to the Process or Details tab and click on the tab depending on which Windows Server you have.
- Select the QuickBooks processes and click on the End Process or End Task as shown in the screenshot below.
- Make sure only QuickBooks (QBW32.EXE) processes end and close the Task Manager.

- Click the up arrow in the lower right corner of your computer desktop (in the notification area of your watch) and click the mouse on the SmartVault keyhole icon.
- Click Actions QuickBooks Registration to fix.
- When Windows displays “Allow this app to make changes”, click Yes or OK.
- A confirmation message “Display in Your computer to use”.
Step 4: After the confirmation message is displayed, complete the following steps:
- Click on Start Settings V SmartVault ► SmartVault Launchpad, and then sign in to SmartVault.
- Open QuickBooks again.
- Answer the security question (when prompted) by allowing the smart wall to run.
Step 5: Configure the Windows Firewall

- First, go to the Windows Start Button. Now type “Windows Firewall” into the search box.

- On the Advanced Settings tab, you must right-click the Inbound Rules option. Select the “New Law” option there.

Step 6: Register MSXML Files

- First, you have to hit the Windows and R key together. Then hit the Enter Button next. This will open Run Windows. In the Dialog Run box, type “cd / windows / syswow64”.
- Now, hit the Install button and type “regsvr32 MSXML4.dll” in the Command Prompt windows.
- Next, you must write “regsvr32 MSXML6.dll” in the Command Prompt window and hit the Enter key again
